The Committee members scrutinized the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Technical Safety" (Reg. No.3438) that defines basic principles of technical safety and State regulation of technically dangerous objects, i.e. licensing, State examination, auditing, civil responsibility insurance, inspection and appraisal of technical safety conditions.
According to the subject of legal regulation, the Bill refers to the branch of taxes, including indirect and environmental ones.
The People´s Deputies stressed that the Bill complied with the European legislation.
The Committee also recognized the Bill on Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine concerning Prevention of Non-Industrial Injuries (Reg. No.3122) as such that complies with the EU legislation. The Bill creates an effective mechanism for preventing non-industrial injuries and grants relevant authorities to the local self-government bodies.
